Mike Welborn currently serves as Board Chair of HonorHealth and is Board Advisor to Switchboard MD, an AI healthcare startup, and ThaiChili2Go restaurant company. He retired in 2019 as President of PF Chang’s China Bistro. Mike spent his earlier career in financial services including President of Crocker Mortgage Company (now Wells Fargo), Chairman of Citibank Arizona, Chairman of Bank One Arizona, and Executive Vice President of Bank One (now JP Morgan Chase) reporting to CEO Jamie Dimon. He continues to enjoy mentoring future leaders. For the past 38 years Mike has been actively engaged serving the Arizona community. He has served on over 18 for-profit and non-profit Boards including P.F. Chang’s, Pei Wei Asian Diner, Peter Piper Pizza and as Board Chair of Greater Phoenix Leadership, Greater Phoenix Economic Council, Valley of the Sun United Way and, Arizona YPO and WPO, among others. Mike received his MBA from Harvard and his BA from Johns Hopkins. He lives in Scottsdale and Flagstaff with his spouse of forty years, Patricia, whose passion is public charter schools targeting low income students. She was appointed by the Governor to the State Board of Education. Mike and Pat have raised three children who, like their parents, enjoy skiing, hiking and biking. Pat and Mike are happy owners of rescue Labs #8 & #9, have taken 25 bike trips around the world, and are thrilled by the arrival of two grandchildren.
