James D. White is a transformational leader with over 30 years as a CEO and operating executive in the consumer products, retail and restaurant industries.
James currently serves as Board Chair for The Honest Company (NASDAQ: HNST) and a Board Member at CAVA (NYSE: CAVA), Simply Good (NASDAQ: SMPL), Schnucks Markets, and Bay Club. He co-founded the Directors Academy and serves as an advisor to Black Women on Boards.
James formerly led Jamba Juice as Chair, President, and CEO, transforming it into a global lifestyle brand. Prior to his role at Jamba, he held senior executive positions at Safeway Stores, Inc., the Gillette Company, Nestlé-Purina PetCare, and the Coca-Cola Company.
James is the author of Anti-Racist Leadership: How to Transform Corporate Culture in a Race-Conscious World, published by the Harvard Business Review Press.
